Tamil Nadu Vs Thamizhagam: After Assembly Ruckus, DMK, CM Vs Guv Intensifies With Pongal Invitation
A day after chaos in Tamil Nadu Assembly, the Tamil Nadu Governor and the DMK have locked horns over an invitation to Pongal Festival. The invite for the Pongal festival from the Governor’s house mentioned “Thamizhaga Aazhunar”, instead of ‘Tamil Nadu Government’. Already at loggerheads over Guv’s suggestion to rename TN to Thamizhaga, the invitations enraged DMK and its allies. Posters with the caption – “GET OUT RAVI” – were placed in the Valluvar Kottam and Anna Salai areas of West Chennai.
